We’re pleased to announce that Global HRIS have been named as one of the most exciting new global businesses in the Northwest. StartUp Awards have shortlisted Global HRIS for the best global start-up in the region, which will take place in 2022.
Since our launch in Summer 2019, we have delivered several payroll data migrations, including one time payroll projects, across the world. We continue to pride ourselves on providing the highest quality support for global payroll.
From payroll parallel testing to data migration services, our dedicated team of payroll consultants have worked hard to deliver a unique solution for every client. That’s why we’re so proud our efforts are being recognised as part of this year’s StartUp Awards.
The StartUp Awards National Series has been launched to recognise the booming start-up scene across the UK, which has accelerated since the coronavirus pandemic began. The wave of start-up culture has touched almost all sectors around the world and new businesses continue to launch and grow each day.
Supported nationally by BT, EY, Dell and Intel, the programme aims to celebrate the successes of business owners across the UK who have recently launched. They will recognise individuals who have turned an idea into an opportunity and have taken a risk to launch a new successful product or service.
Competing with over 2,500 applicants, Global HRIS are so proud to be a part of this year’s StartUp Awards.
Here our CEO and Global Payroll Project Consultant – Simon Bradbury – shares his thoughts: “Everyone at Global HRIS is excited to be part of this new awards ceremony that recognises local talent. I’m so proud of how much Global HRIS has achieved on a global scale, particularly in recent years.
The coronavirus pandemic completely shifted expectations around payroll. We had to deliver payroll solutions around the world when each country had a different set of restrictions and furlough schemes available. It was more important than ever before to deliver a quality project and ensure compliant payroll to all employees affected.
Our dedicated team worked tirelessly to ensure all payroll solution implementations were efficient and reflected the uncertain times of the pandemic. That’s why I’m so excited to have been shortlisted for the best Global StartUp in the Northwest. I cannot wait to celebrate the Northwest StartUp Awards in July 2022 and to learn more about the variety of fantastic and unique businesses across the region.”
Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE – the creator of the StartUp Awards National Series, agrees: “New firms are important for generating economic prosperity, employment opportunities and innovation. Since 2016, the Wales StartUp Awards have celebrated this amazing annual contribution to our economy by entrepreneurs and the impact they have on communities across the nation.
“Given the sheer volume of phenomenal start-ups we’ve heard from since then, as well as the huge post-pandemic shift in people’s desires to take their career in a new direction and set up a business against the odds, we felt it was the right time to take the programme nationwide. We’ve been blown away by the standard of entries in the first year and truly look forward to crowning the winners in June!”
